Foreign Ministry announcement regarding the Greek State’s assistance for victims of the attack on the village of Sartana, Ukraine

On relevant instructions from Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos, Greece’s Consul General in Mariupol informed the Mayors of Mariupol and Sartana of Greece’s intention to provide economic assistance to the victims of the attack in Sartana, Ukraine, and to their families. Moreover, the Consulate General in Mariupol, which is closely and constantly monitoring the clinical condition of those who have been hospitalized, proceeded, following consultation with the medical staff of Mariupol’s hospital, to the purchase of essential medicines that will be administered to the injured.
