Precautionary emergency measures against the corona virus (covid-19) applied by the Consular office of the Embassy of Greece in the Hague
Upon instructions of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Consular Office of the Embassy of Greece in The Hague will adapt its services to public following the guidelines of the Greek National Public Health Organization (E.O.D.Y.) and the competent Dutch authorities, while monitoring closely the relevant developments.
Consequently, as of Friday 13.03.2020 and until further notice, precautionary emergency measures will apply in order to limit spreading of corona virus and to protect citizens visiting the premises of the Consular Office, as well as its employees:
1. As long as these emergency measures are in effect, the Consular Office will only dispatch scheduled appointments.
2. Nevertheless, citizens wishing to visit the Consular Office during set public service hours are kindly requested to do so only in very urgent cases and after contacting us previously by email (
, providing a mobile phone number) or phone (070 3621780, 3638700).
3. Individuals bearing suspected symptoms of possible infection with corona virus, as well as those subjected to self-quarantine upon advice of local health authorities, are kindly requested not to visit the premises of the Consular Office, at least for the following critical 14 days.
4. The same is strongly advised for those, who have returned to The Netherlands from high-risk countries or those who have been in close contact with persons that have returned from those countries.
