Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs Sia Anagnostopoulou sends letters to business operators related to the establishment of a dialogue committee on issues of trademarks and commercial names
Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs Sia Anagnostopoulou sent letters to the Chairman of the Union of Hellenic Chambers of Commerce (UHCC) Mr K. Michalos, the President of the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece (FING) Mr A. Savvakis, and to the President of the Greek Exporters Association (SEVE) Mr G. Konstantopoulos, calling upon them to proceed with the institutional dialogue on issues of trademarks and commercial designations, following signing of the Prespa Agreement. The business operators are encouraged to establish an institutional committee for the purpose of highlighting any potential problems and laying out proposed solutions.
The results of the institutional dialogue will be brought to the attention of the International Team of Experts which is going to be established in the near future, as provided for by the Prespa Agreement.
To this end, the Secretary General of International Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ioannis Brachos, will be travelling to the Republic of North Macedonia next week (22 & 23 April) in order to decide, together with the Secretary General of North Macedonia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Viktor Dimovski, upon the specifications, nature, and method of operation of the International Team of Experts.
