Call for submitting an expression of interest for reparation, insulation and waterproofing works

Call for submitting an expression of interest for reparation, insulation and waterproofing works at one balcony of the second floor and a stone terrace on the first floor of the building of the Embassy of Greece in Oslo, and insulation and waterproofing  works at the 1st floor terrace of the Ambassador’s Residence in Oslo.

The Embassy of Greece in Oslo, according to the provisions set in the Greek Law No. 4412/2016, intends to proceed with a direct assignment to sign a contract,regarding the reparation, insulation and waterproofing works at one balcony of the second floor and a stone terrace on the first floor of the building of the Embassy of Greece in Oslo, and insulation and waterproofing works of the 1st floor terrace of the Ambassador’s Residence in Oslo with an estimated cost of approximately 290.000 NOK (approximately 29.000 Euro), non including VAT, and invites the interested parties to submit an expression of interest dossier, in line with the stipulations of this invitation and the annex hereto attached.

The quotation should include the following:

-the price per unit/service, including VAT, as well as the total price of the provided services, which shall not exceed the aforementioned estimated cost.
-the VAT itself
-the duration for which the quotation is valid

The interested parties are invited to send theirexpression of interest dossier by email to until April 6th,2022.
The selection criteria would be the most cost-effective quotation based on the total price.
Kindly note that the eligible party will be required to sign a simple contract and submit
a) a certificate of representation, from the company director
b) a criminal record certificate (politiattest) for the director/signatory of the contract
c) a copy of the IBAN number of the company for the payment and
d) a certificate for tax and value added tax (Attest for skatt og merverdiavgift).

Annex 1  -   Description of the project
The objective of the above mentioned call for expression of interest is summarized below , according to the needs of  the Embassy of Greece in Oslo:

•    Embassy/2nd floor.
a/ Removal of the old,full of holes, metallic floor of the Terrace, including damaged concrete. Repair, insulation and waterproofing works at the floor and placement of new tiles on the floor.
b/ Plastering works at the bottom of this balcony with waterproofing materials, filling all of the existing holes on the wall, including painting repair works.
•    Embassy/1st floor.
a/ Removal of the slab stones of the old floor and the damagedconcrete of the Terrace. Casting of new cover with concrete, insulation with waterproofing materials. Placement of existing slab stones.
b/ Removal of existing damaged railings. Installation of new railings (black).
•    Ambassador Residence/ terrace 1st floor
a/ Removal of the tiles on the old floor and the damaged concrete of the Terrace. Insulation of the floor of the terrace and then placement of new tiles, resistant to frost conditions, with a slope of the ground to the existing gutter. Insulation of the adjoining wall of the building with waterproofing materials.
