Reopening of Consular services
REOPENING OF CONSULAR SERVICES
We would like to let you know, that as of Monday, June 1st 2020, the Embassy’s Consular Office will resume operation and service provision to the public.
The temporary suspension of non vital consular functions was deemed necessary, due to particularly threatening spread of Covid-19 during the previous months, a fact that forced all countries into taking drastic measures, aimed at stopping the pandemic and thus protecting the public health.
In view of our return to a new everyday reality, which will be of critical importance to the health safety, of both the staff and the visitors, the Consular Office’s function, will be adjusted to the necessary healthcare requirements that dictate avoidance of overcrowding and social distancing.
In light of the above, we are announcing that the consular functions at the Embassy’s premises, will only take place upon a previously made appointment (by calling 22442728 or by sending an e-mail at ), on the date and time of the appointment only.
We would like to ask for your comprehension and collaboration as to the above mentioned, in order to avoid unnecessary transportations and consequent inconvenience.
We would also like to point out to visitors that the use of a face mask while on our premises is mandatory and to kindly ask them to bring and use their own pen.
We would like to stress that the strict adherence to the above mentioned guidelines, will enable the Consulate’s optimal function, while ensuring, as much as possible, the staff’s and the visitors’ health safety.
