II. Mother Greek Citizen – Father non-Greek Citizen

- Original Birth Certificate (FØDSELSATTEST or BIRTH CERTIFICATE) duly legalized by the Hague Convention Stamp (Apostille).

III. Father Greek Citizen - Mother non-Greek Citizen
(Application on “Recognition of the Greek Citizenship of the child”, addressed to the Competent Greek Authorities, prepared by the Consular Office, signed by the father).
- Documentation:
- Original passports of both parents
- Original Birth Certificate (FØDSELSATTEST or BIRTH CERTIFICATE) duly legalized by the Hague Convention Stamp (Apostille), officially translated in the Greek language.
Names/Surnames of the child, mother and father, must be included as information to the above-mentioned Birth Certificate.
- Recognition Deed (Erklæring om Farskap) by the father of the child, signed before the competent Norwegian Authorities (Hospital or NAV), duly legalized by the Hague Convention Stamp (Apostille), officially translated in the Greek language.
- Civil Status Certificate(UTSKRIFT AV REGISTRERTE OPPLYSNINGER I FOLKEREGISTERET) of the mother of the child, issued by the competent Norwegian Authorities
or by the Authorities of the Country whose citizenship has the mother,
clearly certifying that the mother is SINGLE
duly legalized by the Hague Convention Stamp (Apostille), officially translated in the Greek language.
Consular Fees:
1200 NOK for the above mentioned Application
240 NOK for the Registration
360 NOK per legalization of the signature of the official translators
Important information
• Birth Certificates (FØDSELSATTEST) should be legalized with the Hague Convention Stamp (Apostille) directly at the County Governor’s Offices.
• Recognition Deeds (Erklæring om Farskap) should be legalized by the Notary Public Officesprior legalization with the Hague Convention Stamp (Apostille).
• Civil Status Certificates (UTSKRIFT AV REGISTRERTE OPPLYSNINGER I FOLKEREGISTERET) should be legalized by the Notary Public Offices prior to legalization with the Hague Convention Stamp (Apostille).
