Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Venizelos’ statement on the terrorist attack at a school in Pakistan

Below is Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos’ statement regarding today’s deadly attack, by the Taliban terrorist organization, on a school in the city of Peshawar, Pakistan:

“We are shocked at the incomprehensible, barbaric, inhuman terrorist attack of the Taliban of Pakistan on a school in the city of Peshawar; an attack that resulted in the deaths of dozens of innocent children. The fact that the terrorists targeted children is abhorrent, evoking rage at the craven killers who murdered defenseless children.

We express our deep condolences to the families of the victims and our undivided support for the people and the government of Pakistan.”
