4th annual Business and Human Rights Forum, Geneva, 16-18/11/2015

The fourth annual Business and Human Rights Forum was held in Geneva from 16-18 November 2015 and attracted around 2.000 participants from over 100 countries, giving space to representatives and practitioners from civil society, businesses, governments, international organizations and other stakeholders to discuss ways to promote the the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

During the panel entitled: Identifying Solutions to key Human Rights Challenges  associated  with Mega Sporting Events, Greece, as one of the main sponsors of the resolution on  Promoting Human Rights and Olympic Ideal took the floor to highlight, inter alia,  the fact that sport events should promote high moral values, embedded in the Olympic Ideal.
