8th Session of the UN Forum on Minorities

The 8th Session of the UN /Forum on Minorities Issues /took place from 24 to 25 November 2015, in Geneva, with the theme: /Minorities in the Criminal Justice System./ The Forum provided a unique opportunity for representatives of States, minority communities, United Nations bodies and specialized agencies, academics, experts on minority issues and NGOS  to discuss the various challenges that minorities face globally in the administration of criminal justice. Greece, consistent with its longstanding practice, has actively participated to the Forum and introduced a set of internal best practices and practical measures in combating discrimination against persons belonging to minorities including in the administration of criminal justice.
