Athens Law School wins ELSA Moot Court Competition on WTO Law

The Legal team from the National and Kapodistrian University (Persephone Vernadou, Panayiotis Theodoropoulos, Panayiotis Kyriakou and Anna Ventouratou, coached by Maria Kotsi, Katerina Nikolaou, Katerina Harara and supervised by Lecturer Anastasios Gourgourinis) triumphed in the Final Oral Round of the ELSA Moot Court Competition on WTO (World Trade Organization) Law, which was held at the WTO headquarters in Geneva, from 13 to 18 May 2014.

One hundred and seventeen universities from around the world participated in this Competition, while the team from the Athens Law School, having qualified in the final stage along with nineteen other universities, was in the end triumphant by eliminating Washington University and Rhodes University in the preliminary phase, University of Hong Kong in the quarterfinals, Amsterdam University in the semi-finals, and Harvard Law School in the final.
