CERN Industry Day

On Friday 27 September 2013, Ambassador Alexis Alexandris, visited CERN, where he met representatives of Greek companies (CEO Energy Systems, Electromech, Prisma and Rentron), which are taking part in the event “CERN Industry Day”. During this meeting, the Permanent Representative had the opportunity to exchange views with his interlocutors on the prospects of further enhancing cooperation between CERN and the Greek private sector, in order to increase the industrial returns which Greece accrues from its membership at CERN. In this respect, it was in principle agreed to organize an industrial fare for Greek firms at CERN during Greece’s Presidency of the European Union, in the first half of 2014.
