Educational visit of the Hellenic Diplomatic Academy to Geneva (2-5 September 2024)

The students of the Hellenic Diplomatic Academy had an enriching experience during their four-day educational visit to Geneva. Among others, the young diplomats received insightful briefings from officials at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, United Nations OCHA, IOM - UN Migration, and International Committee of the Red Cross. They had also the possibility to visit CERN, where they were briefed about groundbreaking scientific advancements.
A highlight was the in-depth discussion on the role of Permanent Mission of Greece to the UN and other international organisationsin Geneva, led by Permanent Representative, Ambassador IoannisGhikas.
