One hundred and eighty-five Governments, members of the International Labor Organization, elected the Permanent Representative of Greece in Geneva, Ambassador Alexis Alexandris , on the 28th of May,  as Vice President of the Conference. 

The ILC sets the broad policies of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and meets once a year in Geneva, Switzerland. It brings together some 6,000 government, worker and employer delegates from the ILO’s 185 member States.

Greece has had an active presence for years in ILO meetings, continues to have a constructive cooperation with ILO and currently holds the position of Regional Coordinator for Western Countries.
