European Public Law Organization was granted Permanent Observer Status by ILO (16.3.2015)
European Public Law Organization (EPLO) was granted Permanent Observer Status by ILO with a decision taken during the 323rd session of the Governing Body (16.3.2015). It is the only Intergovernmental Organization ( IGO ), based in Greece, to acquire such a distinction. The opening meeting of the Governing Body was attended by Professor Spyridon Flogaitis, Director General of EPLO, who during his stay in Geneva met with the Director General of ILO Mr.Guy Ryder and with a number of other officials to discuss modalities of cooperation between the two institutions.
Professor Flogaitis also met with senior officials of WIPO and IPU with the aim to obtain a similar observer status for EPLO in these major international organizations in the near future.
