Meeting of the Vice Minister of Health with WHO Director General

On 28 November 2013 Vice Minister of Health Mrs. Zetta Makri and Ambassador Alexis Alexandris met with the Director General of the World Health Organisation Dr Margaret Chan.

The meeting was an opportunity for a fruitful discussion on many issues pertaining to the the WHO the challenges that the Organisation
has to face as well as recent WHO reports containing references to Greece. The Minister presented to the Director General the priorities of the Greek Presidentcy of the European Union in the health sector.
