Nomination of Permanent Representative Ambassador Alexandros Alexandris as Representative of the Western European and Others Group (WEOG) in the Consultative Group of the Human Rights Council in 2015

In 18 November 2014, the Permanent Representative Ambassador Alexandros Alexandris was nominated as Representative of the Western European and Others Group (WEOG) in the Consultative Group of the Human Rights Council in 2015. In this capacity,he will participate in the short-listing of candidate special procedures' mandate-holders, who will be appointed by  the President of the Human Rights Council on the basis of the relevant recommendations of the Consultative Group,and following broad consultations, in particular through the regional coordinators.
