On 17 March 2015 the Secretary General of Public Health Mr. Ioannis Baskozos met with Mr. Ladislav Miko,  Acting Director-General, Directorate General SANTE, EC.  Mr. Miko outlined the priorities of the European Commission in relation to dementia and antimicrobial resistance.

The Secretary General highlighted the priorities of the Greek Ministry of Health and both sides stressed the need for the exploitation of the existing healthcare infrastructure in case of future outbreaks, taking into account the lessons learned from the Ebola outbreak.
