Permanent Representative of Greece Ambassador Anna Korka meets with the DG of the World Health Organization (W.H.O) Dr Margaret Chan

The new Permanent Representative of Greece Ambassador Anna Korka has paid a courtesy visit to the DG of the World Health Organization Dr Margaret Chan on the 1st of June. They exchange views on the outcome of the recently held 69th World Health Assembly, including on the decisions related to the reform of the Organization, which will enhance WHO's capacity to effectively deal with disease outbreaks and other emergency situations.
The bilateral cooperation between Greece and the Organization was also discussed, following the successful participation to the 69th WHA of the Greek Delegation headed by the Minister of Health Mr Xanthos.
