The Permanent Mission of Greece in Geneva organized the conference “Eleftherios Venizelos & the League of Nations”, in collaboration with the World Federation of UN Associations, in the iconic Villa Bocage at the UN Palais des Nations, on November 27, 2019. At this full house event, that paid tribute to multilateralism and to the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the League of Nations and of the Association gréco-suisse Jean-Gabriel Eynard, the speakers showcased Greece’s and, more specifically, Eleftherios Venizelos’ contribution to both these landmarks.
