Visit by Regional Director of WHO for EuropeMrs Suzana Jakab

Ambassador Alexis Alexandris received on 14 January 2014the Regional Director of WHO for Europe Mrs Suzana Jakab.

Ambassador Alexandris underlined the efforts of Greecein the health sector. He made specific reference to the reforms undertaken in the field of primary care and to the coordinated action taken towards addressing the problem of chronic diseases. Mr Alexandris used this opportunity to present the priorities of the Greek Presidency

Mrs Jakab committed to a closer cooperation with the Greek health authorities in all the matters that could arise in the future.
