We operate in an increasingly interconnected global economy. Markets are becoming even more dynamic, powered by constantly expanding Information and Communication Technology networks and technologies, binding us all together. In that context we recognize that both EU and national policies concerning Intellectual Property enforcement policy have to be outward looking. We therefore continue to support ACE as a forum that allows the international trading partners to interact and discuss how the respective Intellectual Property enforcement policies can link together more efficiently and effectively.
Actively engaging in this regard, Greece through the Hellenic Copyright Organisation (HCO) plays a pivotal role in sustaining the conditions that can ensure effective copyright protection in the country for authors/creators and right holders and create a stable and secure environment for foreign capital and investment. Activities cover an extensive area including updating of laws, raising awareness campaigns and training.
