WTO Trade Negotiation Committee – TNC formal convocation on 7/4/2014- Boosting the “Doha Round” / Implementing the “Bali Package”

The WTO Trade Negotiation Committee formal convocation took place on 7/4/2014.  During the meeting the WTO Director General Mr. Roberto Azevedo urged the member-states to shift things up in elaborating a programme in view of concluding the Doha Round as well as of boosting the “Bali Package” implementation (Agriculture, Trade Facilitation, Least Developed Counties).

During the meeting several issues of great interest were raised including the aforementioned “Bali Package” implementation as well as the “Post-Bali” emerging  issues and priorities  (Services, NAMA products and Agriculture). The EU delegation accredited to the WTO as well as the Greek Presidency attended the meeting.
