Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic in Warsaw

She was born in Athens in 1972. She studied French Literature at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and History of Art at the University of Paris X - Nanterres. She holds a master's degree in trilingual translation from the University of Strasbourg.

She started her career as a diplomat in 1997, after her success in the entry exams for Embassy Attachés. As a young diplomat she participated in the educational programs European Diplomatic Program (EDP) and seminars on Security at NADEFCOL in Rome, as well as in a series of conferences and seminars.

She served as Consul at the Consulate General of Jerusalem (1999-2002) and as Deputy Head of the Greek Embassies in Poland (2005-2008), Austria (2011-2014) and Norway (2017-2020).

During her tenure at the Embassy in Vienna, she also served as Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations based in Austria (International Atomic Energy Agency, Wassenaar Regime, UNODC, CTBTO, UNIDO, etc.).

While serving at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Athens, she has worked, among others, in the Directorate of Arab Countries, in the Directorate of European Countries and in the Directorate of North America.

She also undertook the post of the Head of the CFSP in the Directorate for Common Foreign and Security Policy and of European Correspondent from 2008 to 2010, and of the Head of UN Affairs at the Directorate for the United Nations and International Specialized Organizations and Conferences (2015-2016).

In 2010-2011 she was appointed as Head of the Diplomatic Office of the then Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Demetri Dollis, responsible for issues of Greeks Abroad.

In 2016-2017 she was the coordinator of the Working Group set up by the then Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Nikos Kotzias, for the organization of the first "Forum of Ancient Civilizations", which was held in April 2017.

Her last assignment before undertaking the position as Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic in Warsaw, was as Director of Studies of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (September 2020 – December 2022).

She is fluent in English and French and a competent user of the German language. She can also communicate freely in the Polish and Italian languages.

She is married and mother of a daughter.
