HE the President of the Republic of Portugal Mr Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Augusto Santos Silva paid a state visit to Greece (12-14.3.18)

HE the President of the Republic of Portugal Mr Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Augusto Santos Silva   paid a state visit to Greece (12-14.3.18), where he was received by HE the President of the Hellenic Republic Mr Prokopios Pavlopoulos, the Prime Minister Mr A.Tsipras and the Speaker of the Parliament Mr. Nikolaos Voutsis. He was also awarded Doctorate Ηonoris Causa of the Faculty of Law of the University of Athens, visited refugee receptions units and participated in a conference on the future of Europe. In the framework of the visit the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. N. Kotzias and his Portuguese counterpart signed a bilateral Agreement on Tourism.
