Friday, 20 March 2020

FRIDAY MARCH 20th, 2020

Due to the corona-virus worldwide crisis, the Greek Liaison Office in Pristina kindly ask you to have in mind the following:

- New visa applications cannot be received by the Greek Consular Office in Pristina as of 16.03.2020 and until further notice.

- Entry to Greece until April 18th, 2020, and maybe later, is not allowed to foreign citizens, even if they are holders of a valid visa issued by our Consular Office.

- Trips to Greece by foreign citizens cannot be scheduled before June 1st, 2020, as things are now.

- Visa appointments, already arranged with our Consular Office, unfortunately cannot be met currently and until further notice. Rescheduling will be possible only after further evaluation of the situation. A further announcement by our Liaison Office will then clarify the process to be implemented for previously set appointments that could not be met by our Consular Office.

- Individual emails about routine visa appointments cannot be answered individually under currently circumstances. Please refer to this general announcement.

- In case of extreme humanitarian emergency, or if the person belongs to one of the exceptions specifically provided for by the current extraordinary regulations, please submit a request for the consideration of an exceptional visa appointment by sending all necessary documents and concrete justification and proof of the emergency, via email to our Office's address:

Thank you for your understanding and may we all come out of this crisis healthy and stronger.-
