International Greek Language Day February 9 Event

The Embassy of Greece in Seoul celebrated on February 9th the International Greek Language Day, with a book concert of “Odyssey” with Dr Kim Kee Young. Distinguished guests, scholars of the Greek language, and enthusiasts of Greek culture enjoyed a detailed presentation of Dr. Kim’s modern and concise translation, and got to learn more about the greatest story of all time, the Odyssey. At the end of the event, lucky guests received a copy of the Odyssey, as well as exquisite Greek wine and delicious honey.

주한 그리스 대사관은 지난 2월 9일 세계 그리스어의 날 행사를 기념하여 김기영 박사님과 함께 <오뒷세이아> 북 콘서트를 진행했습니다. 그리스어를 배우고 있는 분들과 그리스 문화에 관심을 가지고 있는 분들이 북 콘서트에 참석해주셨습니다. 김기영 박사님께서 현대적이고 간결하게 번역하신 <오뒷세이아>에 관한 자세한 설명을 통해 위대한 고전 <오뒷세이아>에 대해 배울 수 있었던 시간이었습니다. 행사 마지막에는 추첨을 통해 당첨되신 분들께 <오뒷세이아> 책 한 권과 맛있는 그리스산 와인과 꿀을 선물로 드렸습니다.
