Orthodox Icons: A Precious Spiritual Treasure

On Tuesday March 27, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. a book presentation will take place at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Seoul. The two-volume work, titled: Orthodox Icons: A Precious Spiritual Treasure, was authored by Metropolitan of Korea Ambrosios and has been published by the Publication House of the Orthodox Metropolis of Korea, Korean Orthodox Editions. Apart from the detailed Introduction regarding the theology of icons, an attempt has been made to analyze in theological as well as artistic terms 52 icons of Jesus Christ, the Theotokos, as well as icons of Angels, Prophets, Apostles, Martyrs, Ascetics and Saints. Total pages 512.
