Working visit by the Sec. Gen. for International Economic Relations of the Greek MFA, Mr. P. Michalos to ROK (28-30 September 2014).

The General Secretary for International Economic Relations of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Panagiotis Michalos, paid an official visit to South Korea from the 28th of September to the 30th of September 2014, during which he met with Mr. Ahn Chong-Ghee, Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Park Chung-Won, Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, Dr. Oi-Hyun Kim, President and Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), the Vice Chairman of the Fedaration of Korean Industries, Mr. Seung-Cheol Lee, the Senior Executive Vice-President of Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME), Mr. Gab-Joong Kim, the Vice-President and Head of Marketing of the same company, Mr. Hyung-Gum Park, and the President of LOTTE business Group, Mr. Dong-Bin Shin.

Also, he participated as a keynote speaker at the International Exhibition in Maritime and Shipbuilding Technology, Korea 2014 Marine Tech (Changwon, S.Korea), and to the 2nd Greek-Korean Cooperation Meeting in the field of Shipbuilding.
Moreover, he had contacts with the Korean media and gave an interview at the well-known English-spoken newspaper “Korea Economic Daily” and to the international network “Aving News”.
