Yangyang European Film Festival - YEFF

The Yangyang European Film Festival (YEFF) was held on May 3-7 at several locations of sea-front Yangyang county, organized in collaboration with the EU Delegation and EU-member countries. The celebrations included not only screening of European movies, but also culture booths, fireworks, and other fun activities. The award-winning Greek movie “Her Job” (2019), directed by Nikos Labôt, opened the festival and gave the guests a taste of artful European cinema, raising the expectation for the rest of the festivities that took place despite the adverse weather conditions.

양양유럽영화제는 5월 3일부터 7일까지 유럽연합 대표부와 유럽연합 회원국들과 협력해 양양군의 여러 장소에서 열렸습니다. 영화제에서는 영화 상영 뿐만 아니라 문화 부스, 불꽃놀이, 그리고 여러가지 즐거운 액티비티들도 있었습니다. Nikos Labôt 감독의 수상 작품인 “허 잡” (“Her Job”)으로 시작해 유럽 영화의 예술적인 맛을 보여주며 악천후에도 불구하고 영화제 행사에 대한 기대감을 높여줬습니다.
