«Window to Greece» - Meeting with Greek CEOs in foreign and Greek companies active in Romania (Bucharest, 19th April 2016)

Upon the initiative of the Ambassador Grigorios Vassiloconstandakis, and in the framework of the campaign «Window to Greece», supported by the government and aiming at the enhancement of the extroversion of Greek entrepreneurship, a meeting with Greek CEOs in foreign and Greek companies active in Romania was organized, on April 19, 2016, by the Office for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Greek Embassy.

The successful event was attended by sixty-seven CEOs, out of which eleven from foreign companies. The purpose was to create a strong network between Greek businessmen and foreign companies run by Greeks.

In his intervention the Ambassador referred, inter alia, to the bilateral trade, highlighting the significant increase of Greek exports to Romania (+ 16.94%) in 2015, and stressed that such meetings enhance the ties between the Greek business world, facilitating thus the promotion of Greek products and services to foreign companies operating in Romania.

The participants had the opportunity to exchange views and talk privately with companies with which they could cooperate. Actually, they engaged in B2B meetings which resulted effortlessly during the specific event.
