Legalisation of translated documents

The Consular Office of the Embassy of Greece in Bucharest can legalize translated documents from Romanian to Greek language (legalizare).

For the above service, it is necessary that: 

1) The documents are PUBLIC, not private, issued by a Romanian public authority. 

2) The documents bear the APOSTILLE stamp of the Hague Convention, that certifies the validity of the signature of  the public servant issuing the documents. The APOSTILLE stamp should be put on the original public Romanian document and not on the translation.

3) The documents are translated officially, from Romanian to Greek language, by an authorised translator who has permission from the Ministry of Justice of Romania and has given a sample of his signature to the Consular Office.
