Consular Office
The consular jurisdiction of the Consular Office of the Embassy of Greece in Riyadh includes the central and eastern provinces of Saudi Arabia. Apart from the Consular Office in Riyadh, the Hellenic Republic also has a General Consulate in Jeddah.
The tasks of the Consular Office include family law affairs, eg. registration of births, name declarations, certification of signatures and copies of eg. applications for certificates of inheritance, as well as the assistance of Greek prisoners and the support of Greek nationals in emergency situations. The Consular Office is also responsible for issuing visas to non-EU nationals who wish to visit Greece, either for a short stay (C- visas) or for a long stay (D-visas).
