Political Relations

The visit of the Foreign Minister Mr. Nikolaos Dendias to Riyadh last December, those of his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan and the State Minister Mr. Adel Al Jubeir to Athens topped by the official visit of Prime  Minister Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis to Riyadh on February 3rd, 2020 greatly expanded the bilateral relationship giving a special dynamic to it.

The bilateral cooperation, fruitful and constructive, covers a wider area including foreign policy, economy and security. It successfully extends to candidacies in various international organizations.

In the economy, the cooperation between Greece and Saudi Arabia mainly evolves around petroleum products and construction but also includes tourism and food products.
