Ancient Greece and Arab Civilizations: Historical Encounters

On the occasion of the bicentennial of the Greek Revolution, the Embassy of Greece in Riyadh, in cooperation with the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, is pleased to invite you to an online panel discussion entitled “Ancient Greece and Arab Civilizations: Historical Encounters”. The event will take place on Monday 22 March at 18.00 (KSA time) with the participation of Mrs Gianna Angleopoulou Daskalaki, president of the “Greece 2021” Committee, Professor Dimitrios Pandermalis, President of the  Board of Directors of the Acropolis Museum, Professor Saad Albazei, Professor of Comparative Literature at King Saud University, Professor Abdullah Al-Abduljabbar, Professor of History at King Saud University and Professor Ioanna Laliotou, Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Thessaly. The discussion will be moderated by Ms. Hanin Alsudais, Research Fellow at the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies.
