Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Holds Official Talks Session with President of Greece

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held here today at Al-Yamamah Palace official talks session with President of  Greece, Prokopios Pavlopoulos. During the session, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in all fields. They also discussed the latest developments in the region. Following the talks session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud decorated the President of Greece with King Abdulaziz Necklace. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also received the highest medal in the Republic of Greece from the President of Greece. Then, ceremonies of signing two memoranda of understanding were held between the two governments of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Greece.

A memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of satellites and their applications was co-signed by Prince Dr. Turki bin Saud bin Mohammed, President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, and Greek Foreign Minister Nikolaos Kotzias. A draft memorandum of understanding for scientific and technological cooperation was co-signed by Prince Dr. Turki bin Saud bin Mohammed, President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, and Greek Minister of State for European Affairs, International Economic Relations and Foreign Trade George Katrougkalos. The talks session and signing ceremony were attended by a number of princes, ministers and senior officials.
