Second Greek EU Presidency Conference "Europe and the Arab World: Strengthening Political, Business and Investment Ties"

The Conference “Europe and the Arab World: Strengthening political, business and investment ties”, is being held under the auspices of the Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the League of Arab States in Athens, on May 5th-6th, 2014. High level officials and representatives from the European Union and the Arab world shall take part in an open, meaningful and constructive dialogue on the way ahead.

The conference aims to examine issues that will strengthen the collaboration and enhance relations and business prospects of the Arab world with the European Union. Distinguished speakers and participants shall be given the opportunity to share their expertise for new business opportunities and joint ventures in the fields of energy, transportation, infrastructure development, agriculture and food security, sustainable development, climate change, water accessibility, financial services, tourism and culture.
