New CoViD-19 measures in force in Slovakia
The Government of Slovakia announced new measures in the fight against CoViD-19, starting from 5 am December 19, 2020. Movement within the country will be restricted among other to and from the place of work, the nearest food store, pharmacy, doctor, gas station, post office, bank, insurance company, online purchases pick up point, for the care of close relatives.
The restrictions for travelers from a list of EU countries which includes Greece, are still in place. They are required to have a negative PCR CoViD-19 not older then 72 hours, performed by a laboratory outside Slovakia, if they wish to be exempt from the obligation to self-isolate for an asymptomatic ten-day period upon entry to the country.
Otherwise, the obligation to self-isolate for an asymptomatic ten-day period is in effect. Furthermore, an online registration form has to be submitted at https://korona.gov.sk/en/ehranica/#
The above do not apply to travelers transiting through Slovakia, provided that the transit is concluded within eight hours.
