Slovakia provides material humanitarian aid to the Moria Reception and Identification Centre

In response to the activation of European Civil Protection Mechanism, Slovakia provided today, 18 September 2020, material humanitarian aid to the Moria Reception and Identification Centre, of a total value of € 38.600.

At the event at the Bratislava International Airport, in the presence of the State Secretary of the Slovak Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs Mrs Ingrid Brockova and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Interior Mr Vendelin Leitner, the Chargé d' Affaires a.i. of the Embassy Mr Nikolaos Fouyas thanked the Government of Slovakia for the response and pointed out that Greece is a frontline EU member state regarding the migration flows, which constitute a major challenge for the whole of Europe and need a comprehensive and effective European policy.
