Alternate Foreign Minister G. Katrougalos meets with Slovenian State Secretary S. Štiglic

Alternate Foreign Minister Giorgos Katrougalos met today with the Slovenian State Secretary for European Affairs, Sanja Štiglic.

During the meeting, which took place in a very warm atmosphere, a coincidence of views was ascertained on issues of European and bilateral interest. More specifically, they discussed issues bearing on the future of Europe, including the social dimension, economic convergence and Brexit. On the migration issue, both sides noted the need for a common European solution based on full solidarity.

Ms. Štiglic will represent Slovenia at the EUSAIR-AII Ministerial Meeting taking place on 11 and 12 May in Ioannina.
