Announcement of Greek Government Scholarships for Slovenian Nationals for the Academic Year 2023-2024 and for the Summer Seminar in Greek Language and Culture 2023

We are pleased to inform the Slovene public about the decision of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs of Greece on the scholarships that the Greek government intends to grant to foreign nationals, including to Slovenian citizens, in the context of reciprocity and in implementation of bilateral Educational Programs, for the academic year 2023-2024.

For Slovene citizens the decision foresees, one (1) scholarship of a duration of up to 10 months, for postgraduate studies or research and one (1) scholarship for attending the Greek Language and Culture summer seminar. Please note that the applications are collected by the competent public authorities responsible for scholarships in the country of origin, who are responsible for the selection process and forward of the selected candidate files to Greece. The deadline, by which the files of the selected candidates should reach, by registered mail, the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs of Greece / General Directorate of Higher Education / Directorate of Organization and Academic Development / Department IV of Student Affairs and Scholarships, is May 19, 2023. The deadlines for submitting applications to the competent for scholarships authorities of the countries of origin are defined by each country separately, taking into account the above mentioned deadline.
