New measures for entry into Greece to limit the COVID-19 pandemic (valid from 7th February 2022)
As of the 7th of February at 6.00am, travelers to Greece, coming from EU member states and Schengen countries, as well as from the 33 non-EU countries that have joined the EU Digital Covid Certificate (DCC) system, with a valid certificate of vaccination (completed up to 9 months before arrival) or recovery from COVID-19 (of less than 180 days before arrival), will be able to enter Greece, without the need for PCR or rapid test.
The requirement for a valid negative PCR test (performed up to seventy two (72) hours before arrival), or Rapid test (performed up to twenty four (24) hours before arrival), remains for those without a valid vaccination or recovery certificate, or for those coming from countries that have not joined EU DCC.
Please note that, access to indoor areas of restaurants, leisure and sports facilities in Greece is allowed only after showing a vaccination certificate valid for 7 months after the completion of the basic vaccination and without time limit for travelers who have received the booster dose.
Furthermore, all travelers are required to complete and present the PLF (Passenger Locator Form), issued via https://travel.gov.gr, at least 24 hours before their arrival, as was the case so far.
Travelers are advised to refer to the same website (https://travel.gov.gr) for additional details, as well as, updated relevant information.
