Regional event “NET 0” (Maribor, 6 September 2022)

OnTuesday, 6 September 2022, the regional event “NET 0” took place in Maribor, focusing on ways to practically promote zero net greenhouse gas emissions. The event was co-organized by the Institute for Strategic Solutions / ISR, the Slovenian Public Agency for Entrepreneurship, Internationalization, Foreign Investments and Technology “SPIRIT Slovenia” and the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Welcome speeches were addressed by Mr. Τine Kračun (CEO, ISR), the Mayor of Maribor Mr. Saša Arsenovič and the Slovenian State Secretaryat the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr. Samuel Žbogar. The event, which included a tour of Maribor’s “Museum of the Oldest Vine”, where a series of vineyard depictions are exposed, was preceded by a cycling tour of the city headed by the Mayor Mr. Arsenovič, during which participants were given the opportunity to take a closer look at severalof the city’s green urban interventions (notably regarding an urban network of pedestrian streets and bicycle lanes). The Embassy of Greece in Slovenia was represented at this event through its Commercial section.
