Webinar of the Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Embassy of Greece in Slovenia titled “PATENT PROTECTION SYSTEMS AND THE PROMOTION OF INNOVATION IN GREECE AND SLOVENIA” (21.03.2022)

On Monday, March 21, 2022, the Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Embassy of Greece in Slovenia held a webinar on patent protection systems and the promotion of innovation in Greece and Slovenia, with over 30 participants from public and private entities of both countries. Key speakers included Mr. Stanislav Kaluža from the Slovenian Intellectual Property Office/SIPO and Ms Iliana Kosti, LLM, Deputy Board Member of the Hellenic Industrial Property Academy/HIPA. The webinar, which aimed at exploring and highlighting patent protection in the context of innovation "eco-systems" in the two countries, began with introductory speeches from H.E. the Ambassador of Greece to Slovenia, Eleftherios Kouvaritakis, and SIPO Director, Ms Karin Žvokelj, MSc, as well as from HIPA Managing Director Mr. Anastasios Thomopoulos.
