Translations

For official translations of foreign documents into Greek, you can search for certified translators included in the Register of Certified Translators of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (https://metafraseis.services.gov.gr/).

Certified translators officially translate South African public documents, as defined in the Hague Convention, provided that they bear the stamp of the Hague Convention (Apostille) by DIRCO when they originate from South Africa.

For procedures that can be completed at the Consulate General (e.g. registration of marriage, birth or death – NOT nationality determination or Naturalization), translations by the following sworn translators are also accepted.
