Announcement - Driver Vacancy

The Consulate General in Johannesburg will require a Driver to the Consul General, on a two years’ contract basis, according to the provisions of the article 149 of the Law of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Greece N.3566/2007 and with a monthly salary of 850 Euro. Candidates should have the following qualifications:
• Be a permanent resident of South Africa
• Be between 21 and 60 years old
• Have excellent knowledge of English (speaking and writing). A fair knowledge of the Greek language would be taken into account.
• Have a primary education certificate. A South African Grade 9 or Matric or tertiary education certificate would be taken into account.
• To have all the necessary qualifications for the above position and be willing to work extra hours if needed. Solemnity, confidentiality and diligence are essential elements of the candidates.
• Have no criminal record (police clearance certificate from Home Affairs). 
• For Greek male citizens, to have fulfilled their military obligations or to have been legally exempted from them.
• To have a Code B Driving License.
• Former experience will be taken into account (references to be provided).
