Announcement for employment at the Consulate General in Johannesburg
The Consulate General, under the project «Staff Strengthening through “Field workers” to support consular authorities in third countries», of the European Internal Security Fund/ Department of Borders and Visas 2014-2020, will cover two seasonal support posts, to support the work of the Consulate General, on an eight (8) months contract basis, and with a monthly salary of 850 Euro.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Be a permanent resident of South Africa or resident of Free State, Gauteng (except from the metropolitan municipality of the city Tshwane), KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and North West
- Be between 21 and 60 years old
- Have excellent knowledge of English (speaking, reading and writing). A fair knowledge of Greek, Afrikaans and of another official language of the country would be considered
- Have a degree, diploma or certificate of higher education, or be student for a degree of higher education.
- Have extensive knowledge and experience in the use of a Personal Computer and in particular to Windows, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Access.
- Have no criminal record (police clearance certificate from Home Affairs).
