The Embassy express their deepest condolences to the Thai people for the passing away of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej

The Embassy would like to inform the visitors of the Kingdom of Thailand tha a mourning period of one year has been declared. People are to abstain from festivities until November 15th. Visitors should show respect to the sensitivities of the Thai people. Access to entertainment may be restricted, including restaurant, bars and shopping areas.  

Guests should check local media regularly, follow the advice of the local authorities and, if possible, wear dark-colored clothing.
