Alternate Foreign Minister G. Katrougalos meets with Tunisian Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs S. Bachtobji

Alternate Foreign Minister G. Katrougalos today met with the Tunisian Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Sabri Bachtobji.

During the meeting, which took place in a very positive atmosphere, Mr. Katrougalos praised the two countries' traditionally friendly relations, and there was a discussion of further potential for developing bilateral economic relations. It was agreed that more frequent meeting will be held on the political, economic and business level.

Issues of European interest were also discussed, including the Union for the Mediterranean and EU-Tunisian relations.

Mr. Bachtobji praised the significance of the Rhodes Conference for Security and Stability, in which he participated.
