High-level online event in the margins of the EU-Africa Business Forum, Monday, February 14, 2022 at 14:30-16:00 CET

We have the pleasure to inform you that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic is organising a targeted high-level event within the framework of the EU-Africa Business Forum, titled: "Hydrogen and green shipping for clean energy: market prerequisites and green energy transition opportunities for African-EU partnership”. The event will focus on the issues of production of green energy in Africa, with green hydrogen as a key player, its transport to Europe by sea, highlighting the role that the shipping sector can play, as well as the contribution of European entrepreneurship to the development of appropriate infrastructure in cooperation with African countries and the promotion of the green energy economy.

The participation of speakers from Africa, the EU and Greece to the event will contribute to the promotion of the public dialogue regarding the strengthening of EU-Africa green energy cooperation and the emergence of African-European synergies.
