Delivery of pharmaceutical materials for Greeks of Mariupol

In the presence of the director of Greece’s Consulate General in Mariupol, Mihail Stamatis, and the President of the Federation of Greek Communities of Ukraine, Alexandra Prochenko, a shipment of pharmaceutical materials was delivered yesterday, Tuesday, 3 March, to the Federation’s building in Mariupol, having been sent by the Greek NGO “Pharmacists of the World” as assistance for the beleaguered population of the region.

The pharmaceutical materials will be distributed directly to the villages of the wider region of Mariupol and eastern Ukraine where Ukrainians of Greek origin reside, while a portion of the materials will be conveyed to Mariupol’s hospital to cover major shortages of pharmaceuticals.
